I built College Matters a website when Betsy Morgan started her college counseling business 8 years ago. It was time for a redesign to reflect how much her business has grown. She's now working with 5 counselors placing kids in colleges and universities all over the country and internationally. Her new website links her blog, social media accounts, calendars and appointment management all in one interface.
New Issue in the Mail

I'm excited to see the most recent issue of Packard Children's News, the donor magazine for the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford. This issue features three scientists leading efforts at the cutting edge of research to find cures for childhood diseases once considered incurable. It's a pleasure to work with Jen Yuan at the foundation on this magazine. And this issue we were joined by Tom Ahern writing one of the scientist stories.
Inspired marketing for education
I'm thrilled to receive recognition from InspirEd for the admissions suite we created for Ravenscroft School last year.
You can read a write-up about the project on the InspirEd website. Thank you to Rachel Morton for her brilliant copy and to Bob Handelman for his wonderful images.
Campaign website launched
We just launched a campaign website for The Cathedral School in New York City. This beautiful elementary school is nestled onto the campus of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. As they embark on a multi-million dollar expansion to increase their classroom and meeting spaces, they came to us for help with a site that would tell their story.
The project was a collaboration with Cheney & Company and Leanne Kleinmann Communications.
Congratulations!
A big congratulations to Jen Yuan and her team at the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health! Their newly redesigned magazine, Packard Children's News, just won a merit award from the Healthcare Marketing Report.
The 34th HMR program received more than 4,000 entries from across the United States, making the awards the largest healthcare advertising awards competition and one of the ten largest of all advertising awards. A national panel of judges were engaged in reviewing all entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact.
Recognition
I was thrilled to be recognized with three awards in InspirEd's Brilliance awards this year.
- Silver for the Ravenscroft School admission suite written by Rachel Morton and photographed by Bob Handelman.
- Gold for the Brooks School campaign website.
- Bronze for the Nightingale-Bamford campaign website.
Many thanks to the many wonderful people who contributed to the success of these projects!

What do you get when you cross a health policy think tank with a medical rare books library? If you guessed a medical museum you'd be right. Maggie Cohn and I were proud to work with the New York Academy of Medicine to develop a case statement to launch the first medical museum in New York City.

So great to see all the case writers in one place! Huge thanks to Chris Davenport, conference producer, for inviting me to participate in this amazing gathering of fundraising talent. It was very cool to see the graphics all over the hotel.
